ANZAC Day March 2024
The RAEME Association is registered to March in the City of Perth on the 25th of April 2024. On this important day we gather to commemorate service and sacrifice, honouring the ANZAC Spirit. Arrive with your group from 08:15 AM to form up at the corner of Barrack Street and Saint Georges Terrace, Perth WA for a 09:00 AM start.

The March Route
• Starting from the Corner of Barrack Street and Saint Georges Terrace, Perth WA and ending at Langley Park.
• Arrive from 08:15 AM to form up at your group’s marked location (see map) for a 9:00 AM start.
• Note your group’s section on the Order of March (Column 1) and the corresponding marker on the map. This will be your group’s form up location.
• An information booth with be available on the day on starting point at the Corner of Barrack Street and Saint Georges Terrace to assist March participants on the day.
• On the day observe directions from Parade Marshalls and the March Protocols.
March Protocols
In respect of participating in the ANZAC Day March participants should be aware that the consensus of the returned servicemen and women, who form the body of this March, is that they be allowed to retain the integrity of their individual units for as long as possible. While they recognise the importance of and respect the participation of next of kin (NOK), they request the following guidelines be observed by all participants.
Free Public Transportation
There are additional train and bus services in operations on ANZAC Day and all are encouraged to utilise this option and plan your journey. All veterans and serving personnel wearing uniforms, campaign ribbons or medals will travel FREE on ANZAC Day. Seniors, aged and disability support pensioners can also use their SmartRider to access free travel because of the public holiday.
