My name is Barry Stevens, ex 6RAR. I am currently employed in PNG as a Construction Manager. The company I work for has asked me to find an ex-military workshop manager for our large fleet of plant equipment. We would specifically like to employ an ex SSM or Sgt simply because we need someone with the ability to train/improve the capability of our current national team of fitters as well as get in and get there hands dirty when needed. They must be able to plan ahead and schedule servicing, maintain a parts store and order in more as need be. We would prefer a single man simply because the position will include extended periods in the field living in man camps throughout PNG. This is a full time position (not FIFO). There is a very good salary package that includes 5 weeks paid leave a year and 2 return trips to Australia for leave breaks. Again we are looking for someone who knows there way around heavy machinery, manage a workshop and has the ability to work with and train our National Staff.
