    Good afternoon, fellow RAEME brethren. With the Corps Birthday coming up, 1st December, it's time for our annual game of golf. Down at Claremont 9 hole golf course. (By the swimming pool). The date has been booked for the 6th December at 12 pm. The booking has been made for 5 groups of 4. There is time to adjust for more or fewer players a few days prior to tee off. For those that are interested in playing, this is open to all RAEME, both 5's and 7's alike, serving or retired. So, if you are interested in playing and having a few laughs along the way.     It is time for the RAEME Birthday to go north of the river again (we alternate) Everyone is invited to celebrate the Corp Birthday at the Bayswater Hotel on Monday 1 December from 1800. It has been newly done up but the food is still great.

    G’day all, It’s that time of year again. The Royal Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers has a short, but glorious history, formed in 1942 when the repair facilities of the Ordnance Corps (AAOC) and the Service Corps (RASC) were combined to form the Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (AEME). AEME was granted the title of ‘Royal’ in 1948. The Corps has since enabled Army manoeuvre and combat power throughout a plethora of overseas and domestic operations and exercises. Date and time: Friday, 28 November 2025, 1100-1500 Location: 13 CSSB Workshops. Who: RAEME Association and all serving and ex-serving members within the region.

Vietnam Day/Long Tan Memorial Where: Vietnam Memorial, King's Park When: Sunday 18 August 2024 Timings: Meet at 9:30/10:00am, Form Up at 10:30am, March Off at TBC, Service at 11:00am. ( We meet adjacent to the memorial, our Banner will be prominently and proudly displayed by the roadway). Those wishing to attend lunch after the service concludes,( partners welcome), at the Inglewood Hotel, 803 Beaufort Street, Inglewood. Interesting kid things; Setting up camp, Baby lambs, sheep, chooks, exploring the block. If warm enough they can spend time in pool. Bonfire. From a COVID perspective usual deal, if sick give ut a miss. We will make sure plently hand cleaner etc avail and can spread out caravans / tents etc
