Looking for Ian Walton

Has anyone come across a Ian Walton who was at CSC in 1979?  They are trying to track him down for a reunion!

If anyone knows his whereabouts please let us know through the contact us page (click HERE) and we will pass the information on.

Ian Beard - Fundraiser 26th Sept 14

One of our brethren, Ian Beard is recovering in hospital with three fractured vertebrae, a damaged spinal cord and broken ribs after his push bike collided with a car in Attadale on the 30th July 2014.  Ian is recovering slowly from his significant injuries.  It is not yet known if he will recover fully.

Ian is working hard to recover and is maintaining his good sense of humour in this challeging time.  To assist in Ian's recovery the annual WA Police vs. WA Fire & Rescue football match is being billed as a fundraiser to help Ian and Suzzie.

WORKSHOP MANAGER / MAINTENANCE MANAGER JOB OPPORTUNITIES

G'day Gents,

Please pass the word if you know of anyone looking for people for these or similar roles. Two guys from the same company over East were made redundant today and I am putting feelers out for them.

They may be willing to relocate and also to accept slightly lower type roles. One is ex RAEME and the other worked for me as a Workshop Manager here at Regal. I would vouch for both of them.

If anyone is interested or may have something available anywhere in Australia, give me their contact details and I'll pass them on to these guys.

Cheers Jono

Pension Officers / Advocates

Pension Officers / Advocates for this Generation of Veterans, Serving and Ex-Serving Members of the Australian Defence Force

There are NOW 61,000 young veterans (1999 onwards) and Serving and Ex Serving members of the ADF that need your help with claims.

The Vietnam Vets of the RSL's Sub-Branches have done a magnificent job with Pensions and Advocacy for many many years. But time has finally taken its toll of them (55.000 Vietnam Veterans, 1965-1972 may be aged 65 Years plus?) And are finally retiring (to be with families and loved ones) from the Pension / Advocacy positions,

So you may soon find that there will be NOBODY available to help you ALL? So what you can do about this future situation? "Get your Members (Veteran and ADM recipients alike) to APPLY to become TIP Trained Pension Officers / Advocates to HELP your members in the future to handle the inevitable pension / advocacy enquiries"?

Good Luck!

Below I have put in the "Good Guts" about "HOW" it ALL works? But it is UP to you to make it happen.
